GHOTEL hotel & living Göttingen

The hotel is close to the highway, and because I was traveling and making a stop over after mid-night, it was very helpful! The staff was very helpful, kind and friendly!

The room has the perfect size for one or two people (I had the room with two twin beds). There is a nice desk for working, a big closet, a safe, the bathroom is also the perfect size and very bright. Additionally the rooms are very soundproof and you only hear a lot of noise when opening the window as it is located near a main street. I loved that the hotel provides you with two glass water bottles everyday when cleaning the room. Furthermore, the staff was very helpful and friendly and, even if this sounds like a given, competent in what they do. They gave useful information and helped with open questions without a problem. The location of the hotel is also perfect, it is about 2 mins from the train station, depending on how fast you walk.

Staff were very accommodating. Spoke English and worked with my poor German. Inviting and helpful! Had to freeze ice packs for medication in order to keep it cold and they gladly helped. Hotel was very close to the train station which made arrival and departure easy! The beds were also very nice after a long plane ride! Slept great! Breakfast was very good with nice variety!

The hotel is located right across the railway station, so very close to the centre, but it's far away from the tracks, so you don't hear the noise. The furniture is brand new, and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast is very good, with a selection of warm and cold meals - the smoked salmon is appreciated.
